Educational and Vocational Counseling
VA's Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Service provides educational-vocational counseling for veterans and certain dependents. This service can provide a wide range of educational and vocational counseling services to Servicemembers still on active duty, as well as Veterans and dependents who are eligible for one of VA's educational benefit programs. The National Resource Directory provides access to thousands of local, state, and national services and resources to help wounded, ill, and injured Service members, Veterans, and their families find information about available VA benefits, such as disability benefits, pensions, health care insurance, and the GI Bill.
CareerOneStop.gov provides employment, training, career planning, and financial and emotional guidance for life after military service. Link to VA and local resources and conduct a military-to-civilian job search based on your military job title or military occupation code.
My Next Move provides Servicemembers and Veterans with information about skills, salary information, job listings and more for over 900 different careers in various industries. Search for careers by keyword, browse industries that employ different types of workers, or search for jobs by military occupation code or title.
